Violin

A Buffalo, New York native, Dr. Elizabeth McGrady began studying the violin at age three with the Suzuki method. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance at SUNY Fredonia School of Music.  She studied with the renowned violinist and teacher, Janet Sung.

Liz has performed with many orchestras, chamber ensembles, string quartets, and festivals throughout the country. 

The Western New York Chamber ensemble, Erie Chamber Orchestra, Dover Symphony. And also Presto String Quartet, Shrewsbury String Quartet, Shakespeare in the park, and the Hot Springs Music festival in Arkansas.

When she is not playing, she is working as a pharmacist and enjoys running and eating ice cream.

Piano

Jeanette Hirschman Anderson is a graduate of Towson State University, and  is the accompanist at St Michael the Archangel in Georgetown, De and Mary Mother of Peace in Millsboro, De. She is also the director of the Pine Tones Chorus in Ocean Pines, De. And was the organist/choir director at St Paul’s Episcopal Church in Berlin, Maryland, and a former music teacher at Harford County Schools.

Cello

Tony Gizzi has managed and been the cellist of the Shrewsbury String Quartet for over 25 years. He studied cello with Jeffrey Solow at Temple University, Joel Dallow of the Atlanta Symphony and Bob Cafaro of the Philadelphia Orchestra.

Tony is principal Cellist of Southern Delaware Orchestra. (SODELO).  And has played with many orchestras, chamber groups and string quartets.  Orchestra Society of Philadelphia, Independence Sinfonia, Olney Symphony, Dover Symphony, Philharmonic of Southern New Jersey, Ambler Symphony, String Poets.

And he also played with South Jersey Youth Orchestra, Philadelphia Bible University Orchestra, Salisbury University Orchestra, the Shrewsbury String Quartet and Shrewsbury Piano Trio.
