Dear Shrewsbury String Quartet,
String music held a very special place in our mother’s heart. We knew that she wanted a string quartet at her funeral and we are very thankful that we found you. You were absolutely wonderful. Many of our friends told us that it was most memorable and emotional when you played Amazing Grace as the pallbearers carried mom out of the church. They said it was something that they will never forget. We wish that we could have met under different circumstances and that mom could have heard you play, although I’m not so sure that she didn’t.

Tony from the Shrewsbury Quartet was quick with responding to my questions and very professional. My husband and I sent the Quartet sheet music and an MP3 of a song we liked to have as “our song”. We sent it about 3 months before the wedding and to our surprise, the Quartet learned the song and even rehearsed it at another wedding (where everyone asked what it was because it was so beautiful). When they played at my wedding (ceremony), it was so beautiful, I was in tears walking down the isle! They were really great to work with and all my guests loved them! Tony, This note is long overdue. We cannot tell you how thrilled we were with the music at our ceremony! As you know, the music minister at our church was less than accommodating, but you were professional throughout. Most importantly, you took the stress away from me – as a bride that meant more than you can imagine! I’d always dreamed of having a string quartet, and you far exceeded our expectations. Dear Tony and Fellow Musicians, Thank you for an amazing performance at our wedding ceremony on June 4, at The Church of the Incarnation. To be honest with you guys, we were a little skeptical as to how you were going to pull everything together without even rehearsing with the singer and the priest. But Wow…everything went smoothly. It was perfect! We didn’t think there was a dry eye in the church after you guys were done with the Ave Maria. Most importantly, when we were looking for vendors, aside from having experience in their venue, we wanted to work with nice people who weren’t pushy and sneaky. Tony you were very easy to work with while planning this wedding. We have received many compliments thanks to your professional service.
